not for the beginner.
i was there today and aked a point blank qustion about a radio i simply asked whats the difference between their 100 dollar radios vrs their 500 dollar radios the response i got was "alot". that response helped me absolutly 0 even after i told the clerk (and i mean ckerk) i was new to rc planes he offered very little information.even a customer that wes in the store chimed in to offer a bit of help.i like the idea of having a local shop to go to but if i cant get any more help than that i can do that online without the 20 minute drive.
Top off the line hobby shop..
If you want true hobby grade products this is it. Wall to wall parts support in stock, easy ordering, fair prices, local... Hundreds of motors, engines, servos, radios...all on display. Thousands of parts lining the walls and shelves to support what they sell. Huge selections of radio control planes, cars, trucks, boats, heli's... yes all on display. I hardly have to order anything - just go pick it up. Love this place !
if you can order online.
there is alot of products in the store. but the two main guys who run the store are not very nice. i have spent alot of money there and i am followed around like i going to seal something. i thought this was a case with just me but after seeing a new person getting into flying asking some really basic ?'s he was treated like he was wasting there time. to me it's just really bad CSR. so now i just try to order online or when i goto the feild i stop at the hobby shop up there.
