Excellent Authentic Italian Food. I find it difficult to eat Italian food outside of my mother's or grandmother's Italian kitchens, as it is hard to find someone that cooks better than they do. But Pileggi's is like eating at home, only better. You are greeted with a warm welcome and treated like family from the start. You get warm, wonderful bread that is endless. They take standard Italian fare and serve it in both beloved traditional and new ways. Moving here from Cleveland, I thought that it would be impossible to replace Little Italy, but walking into Pileggi's is like stepping off Murray Hill, without the crowds and prices. I challenge any Italian food lover, or food lover in general, to try their restaurant. You will not be disappointed! Buon appetito!
